Even so, 400 carriers, 53%, run a single truck and 85% run fewer than 10. The top of the group is concentrated. Aaa Cooper Transportation reports 4339 trucks and 6491 drivers, followed by Wiley Sanders Truck Lines Inc. with 609 trucks and J & M Tank Lines Inc. with 438, and the three account for about 42% of the trucks these carriers report. Birmingham has the most of these carriers with 46, ahead of Mobile with 41 and Montgomery with 37, then Dothan with 21 and Huntsville with 19.
